Karina Olivier

Karina is a visual artist, illustrator and graphic designer currently based in Mexico City, for her the experience of painting is a total immersion where emotions, concepts, thoughts and everyday life become strokes and brushstrokes.

Her work is an invitation to introspection, a state of mind of peace and intimacy, she seeks the meaning of common, everyday and transitory situations. He seeks to make tangible the intangible experiences by addressing themes such as the psyche of women, sensuality through the use of archetypes, mythological figures and their symbolism.

Her dual training allows her to combine both disciplines making the use of color and her brushwork versatile and thus enriching the message that each work seeks to convey and leave something in the viewer.
