STATEMENT: I am a third generation Japanese American painter and photographer. My recent paintings focus on themes of landscape, water and sky.
BIO:Robert Kato was born in San Francisco, CA in 1956.
He holds a BA in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley and a BFA in Photography from Art Center College of Design.
His first solo exhibition was held in the gallery space of fxcollaborative in 2017.
He now lives and works in the town of Redding, Connecticut.
