Laurence Sisk

I studied at the San Francisco on a private basis, with various artists.I moved to Los Angeles, to work in commercial direction writing and cinematography. I moved on to visual effects and worked on both creative and business input on many major films.

I studied art privately with various artist/instructors from the abstract expressionist and California figurative schools. I also studied at UC Berkeley, and the California School of arts and Crafts. I directed two-galleries in san Francisco that exhibited highly regarded established and young artists. I also volunteered at the San Francisco Museum of Art, the De Young Museum. I designed and printed monthly newsletters for museums, art posters and books for the California Historical Society.

All of my work is presented as a series of 4-limited edition prints. I use Arches paper or German equivalent. Unframed prints have a 2-inch margin.
I list the works as original with no prints available because I often use dyes and pencil on each print.

Framed prints are 1" x1.5" light, natural wood. I use museum quality plexi glass. Matts are 3". or in the case of large works, the prints are mounted on board and flush with the edge of the frame.
