Dying Man Painting

I am a relatively new artist inspired by the psychology of Humanity, Dada and surrealism . The human form and its relationship with its surroundings also interests me i recently found a photo of me as a child , naked covered in paint , at an easel with the biggest smile on my face. my mother was raised by an artistic father after the 2nd world war , and taught me to cherish creativity. as life unfolded i pursued bespoke tailoring , designed a swimmimg pool and studiio whilst finding the power of light on natural marble under the spanish sun. i spent the last year studying anatomy and learning how the masters drafted and painted and researched the pigments and media they used. paint is like a mirror, oil is like a spirit medium i channel through paint both my sensory perceptions past present and future, and the unconcious. I find truth in painting and the metaphysical has become a saviour. Religious paintings are also of great strength and inspiration. Francis Bacon is a continuing source of inspiration also the Dada and surrealist movement that came out of the war. Figurative, surrealizm , renaissance and Francis Bacon will always spark my imagination to create and the realize.
