Nana was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and graduated in 2011 with a Master’s degree in Fine Art from Kingston University in London. After becoming a PhD candidate in Interdisciplinary Art in Taiwan in 2019, she returned to the UK to complete the International Artist Training Program at the Royal College of Art. In 2019, she showcased her ice block performance art piece, "Timeline," in London. She has worked on visual design projects for various organizations and began expanding her artistic creations to include natural materials, officially founding her independent floral studio, Urbanbotany, in Taipei in 2014. As a floral artist, she started to create more works involving natural elements. Since 2016, she has held mini solo exhibitions around the world, showcasing small, intriguing, and versatile artworks that connect with the local cultures of the places she visits. Her artistic footprints can be found in cities like Taipei, Seoul, and London. Now based in Los Angeles, California, she focuses on observing local wild plants and natural landscapes, creating mini-sized drawings using natural materials such as minerals and plants. She is preparing to showcase a new series of works this year, sparking fresh inspiration and creating dialogues with the world she encounters. You can find the cutest artworks in the world here!
