“Gayane Zakyan's influential journey has illuminated the global art scene with a career dating back to the late ‘80s and her influence continues to shine brightly thus far. Her artworks, a fusion of vibrant colors and profound meaning, transforms the world into a grand theater.
Notably, Gayane Zakyan received the Grand Prix at the juried exhibition “Stop Violence Against Women” by IWC Charities Interest Group and the US Embassy in Moscow for the artwork “Rebirth.” This underscores her dedication to addressing societal issues through art.
In 1998, Gayane Zakyan was honored with the Commemorative Gold Medal from the Women’s International Democratic Federation (WIDF), emphasizing her commitment to social and gender equality through their art. Additionally, she became a member of the Artists’ Union of Armenia in 1989 and joined the Creative Union of Artists of Russia, affiliated with the International Federation of Artists UNESCO, in 1996.
Gayane Zakyan’s work has graced galleries, museums, and collections worldwide, bridging cultures and generations. Her art invites us to see life as a grand theater, where every moment is a masterpiece waiting to be painted.”
