Laurence Rapaillerie

I am very concerned about what today's society shows us. Both its excesses and its challenges, its positive developments and sometimes its loss of meaning. My paintings are the result of my reflections, my observations too in order to attract the attention of the viewer and perhaps, lead him/her to ask himself/herself questions. Aesthetic remains an important component of my work. I particularly like the bright colors.

I find inspiration in images that I discover over the course of my travels. I use my photographs a lot and I integrate some of them in my paintings or they serve as a basis for my creations.

I graduated from an art school in Belgium (Académie des arts visuels de Molenbeek in Brussels).

Currently I am following Photography classes.
