I was born in 1963 in Israel and grew up for the first years of my life in a village (Kibbutz). Being part of an agricultural community made a long lasting impact on my creative life. I still leave in Israel today.
My education as a textile designer provided me with passion for texture and form.
My greatest inspiration is nature with all its wisdom. Patterns and movement that I see in natural structures triggers my creation. I love hiking the desert collecting stones, minerals & images to take home and inspire my work.
I chose natural stone, marble & glass as my vehicle of expression. Even before I started on with mosaic I felt a spiritual attraction to stone with its geological history it curates within. May the reason be conscious or unconscious, I found myself engaged in breaking the materials I find into smaller pieces, putting one broken piece next to another in order to create a new whole.
