Oster Koezle - Sg Koezle - Artist Duo

SG Koezle and Willy Oster, a photographer and a painter, form the artist duo OSTER+KOEZLE since 1999. Since then their works are always about the topics of space and thus architecture, manifested in seven work series, all of which continue to this day. Their works are characterized by digitally altered photographs of rooms and achitectural elements, that make it nearly impossible to match the seen with the known and the viewer's experience.

Willy Oster (*1950):1969-1975 Studied free painting at the University of Applied Sciences Cologne under the professors Karl Marx and Werner Schriefers. Since then freelance.
SG Koezle (*1950): 1972-1975 Training as advertising photographer in Düsseldorf with Karl Müller-Wendt and Jürgen Theis. Since then freelance in Velbert.
