"For me, the creative process is a constant search for works that are not only perceived but are felt.I firmly believe that the primary function of art is to transmit sensitivity and evoke sensations, establishing an emotional bridge with those who contemplate them. I recognize that, once the work is created,Art becomes an unlimited space where interpretation is always and everywhere a vital and subjective act, enriching the aesthetic experience for each individual." INTERVIEW: 1 ) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cs1ugetuyP8 2 ) 3 ) Architect. Since 1985 he is trained in the plastic arts at the Academy of Miguel Perez Macias where he develops Drawing and Painting with references from the Italian Renaissance and French Impressionism. He later implements the Pen technique in his Drawings. Marco is an Argentine visual artist whose work moves between two complementary languages: oil painting and ballpoint pen drawing, often enhanced with ink. His art focuses on the human figure, emotional connection, and urban environments, approached with a quiet, structured, and introspective gaze. His oil paintings stand out for their dense, atmospheric compositions. Using a restrained palette—blacks, greys, deep blues, and warm accents—he creates scenes that feel suspended in time: underwater moments, empty city streets at night, gestures frozen mid-motion. Color is used with intention, and the canvas becomes a space for emotional tension. Works like *Still the Water*, *Kissing Underwater*, *NYC Night*, and *Lovers* reflect this search for what’s left unsaid, what lingers in silence. Alongside his paintings, Marco develops a series of drawings on paper using ballpoint pen, often with touches of ink. These pieces reveal a precise, meditative linework. Each stroke feels deliberate, each shadow carefully built. The drawings explore similar themes from a more intimate and direct angle—portraits, love scenes, musical tributes, and reflections on identity and memory. Notable works include *The Model*, *Loving You*, *Jazz (Charlie Parker)*, and *AFRICA*. What ties both series together is a desire for connection. Marco’s works don’t impose a message—they open a space for contemplation and quiet dialogue. His style blends emotion with structure, graphic clarity with painterly depth, creating a visual language that speaks through simplicity and restraint. --- If you'd like, I can help you adapt this for your online portfolio, artist statement, or even a press release.
