Nico Avelardi

Nico is a documentary photographer. From his personal and professional research, emerged his vocation for travel, geographic, and sociocultural reportage. His close, interactive approach to the people, places, and cultures, has allowed him to develop a photographic style that is intimate, authentic, and exploratory. His vision has led to a visual language that portrays a strong sense of place, travel experience, and sociocultural aspects. His work has been published by the National Geographic Traveller UK. Nico is based in Florence, but splits his time between Italy, the UK, where he lived for over 12 years, and Morocco, his newfound passion.
