Created from a source of broad experience, passion and refined intuition, my work engages the viewer in a dynamic dialog of evocative metaphor. Philadelphia based and painting for over twenty five years, my work has naturally evolved towards abstraction. The diversity of my work emerges from the qualities of each dance, resulting in compositions formed from a rhythm of improvisation through many stages of birth, death and rebirth. They are a ballet of intricate tensions with no road map or predetermined destination, yet they welcome the scars of the struggle to arrive at a place of connection, expressive of the human experience.
