About The Artwork
With this collection, I wanted to experiment with negative space and lines. I set up a rule for these forms and lines and created 72 different patterns. Out of that 72 patterns, only 16 could be used to join together and create the form of this. This piece includes two individual objects; in the photo, they are arranged and put together to showcase both together. Each individual piece is made with permastone and plaster. They are unique in their form as well as their texture since it's a mixture of permastone and plaster.
