Andrew Lambeth

I have painted since my parents bought me a set of water colours for Christmas when I was very young, and it's been in my blood ever since. I have since gone on to sell my work to people from all over the world through a number of galleries throughout Yorkshire.

I live at the foot of the Yorkshire Wolds, in England and I must say there is no other place in the world like it. There is an atmosphere, and a light you just don't find anywhere else. I try to re-create this in my work, as I feel the wolds lends its self wonderfully to my impressionist style of painting.

One of my biggest influences has to be David Hockney, I don't try to emulate his work as I have a very unique style. But I very much appreciate how he captures such a beautiful part of the world.
