Kateryna Kosianenko

Ukrainian artist, painter.Was born in 1978 in Kyiv.
Member of National artists' union of Ukraine since 2002.
Participant of all-Ukrainian (since1999) and international (since 2003) art exhibitions. Works with easel painting.
2009 internship in Cite internationale Des arts (Paris).
2011 Kateryna was in Poland as a scholar of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Poland (GAUDE POLONIA). Internships at the Academy of Fine Arts Jan Matejko (Akademia Sztuk Pieknych im Jana Matejki w Krakowie).
HONOURS:
2003 1st prize in painting of the Salone dAutumne ( 1-er PRIX de PENTURE des Amis du SALONE DAUTOMNE) , Paris, France.
2004 President of Ukraine grant for gifted youth.
President of Ukraine scholarship, 2004.
2006 Silver medal, Ukrainian Academy of Arts, Kyiv, Ukraine.
2009 The International Award "Lorenzo il Magnifico", 5° Award for Painting International Biennale of Contemporary Art in Florence

Graduated from T. Shevchenko School of arts in 1996, and continued her studies in National academy of fine arts and architecture (graduation in 2002). Studied at the theatre scenery department under the guidance of renowned stage artist D.D. Lider. In 2005 Kateryna had an internship with NAFAA assisting at the pictorial master class of prof. V. I.
