Siamak Sharifan

Siamak Sharifan (b. 1977, Tehran) is a multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto, working across drawing, sculpture, and conceptual installation.
His practice interrogates the fragmented nature of contemporary existence — where collective memory, political force, and bodily experience collide. Through an urgent and visceral visual language, Sharifan constructs layered narratives that resist resolution, occupying the liminal space between presence and erasure.
Sharifan has exhibited internationally across Iran, Turkey, the Netherlands, Denmark, Australia, and Canada, including Art Fair exhibitions in Melbourne and Sydney (2025).

Bachelor’s degree in Sculpture from the School of Fine Arts, University of Tehran.
