Agustin Malave, b. 1953, Salinas (Spain)
Self taught painter, before painting he was a photographer, with digital works published in the Spanish mag La Fotografia, the English Digital Photo User and the Russian Computer Arts.
Now devoted to pastel painting, my main interest is landscapes, specially those where water - lakes, wetlands, the beach when tide is low - is involved.
I absolutely love all paintings by John Singer Sargent, the landscapes by John Constable and concerning pastel, my favorite artists are Richard McKinley and Bethany Fields.
Graduated in Biology by the Universidad Complutense, in Madrid, Spain.
