Bash Wathier is the creator of Vandalized Classicism - classical portraiture that refuses the lie of perfection.

All works are done with just the three primary colors.

Most are part of the One Hour Project- an intentional restraint designed to keep the hand moving faster than the ego.

Bash is the founder of the Movement to Eliminate Zeal-Less Corporate Aesthetic Lethargy (MEZCAL), an organization dedicated to opposing hotel art - decorative paintings that could fit in corporate lobbies because they are engineered to offend no one.

The MEZCAL Manifesto:
