Joanna Glazer

Born in Gdansk, Poland. Lives and works in London.The inner images and bold colours I incorporate in my work convey a sense of abundance, total immersion into life and optimism. In my paintings, I create a space of beauty and paradise in the way that shows resilience and strength regardless of circumstances. Each painting is like a poem,... a life affirming experience.

The work of Joanna GLAZER is both introspective and eclectic. Full of color, it makes us travel through great moments of contemporary art including the cinematographic or theatrical language with its masks. Women play an important role, sometimes idealized, sometimes realistic, but always protagonists, recalling their importance in modern society.
