About Mara Light
Mara Light is a painter living and working in Pennsylvania. She was born in New York in 1970. She received her B.F.A from Art Center College of Design; Pasadena, California, in 1993. Light has had continuous representation and exhibition with many galleries including Park Gallery and Classic gallery in Carmel, California and Brennen galleries with locations in Palm Desert, California, Scottsdale, Arizona and Santa Fe, New Mexico. In addition, Mara Light’s paintings have been commissioned by dozens of private and public collectors and featured in charity events, and Cultural Centers, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and Christies in Beverly Hills, California. Most days Mara can be found painting in her studio, which is in her home, enjoying the struggles of being a painter and artist!
