The monochromatic abstract paintings shown here are from an ongoing series that explores opposites - light and dark, growth and decay, energy and stillness. They often relate back to the natural world but not in any specific way. Ellipses, circles and waves - arcing - dissecting - erasing - merging - to create new forms.
I am always interested in the surface of a painting as well as the overall composition (unfortunately some of the detail is lost in these low resolution reproductions).

My last exhibition was in Brighton and although I have rarely exhibited I have sold work as far a field as Canada, New Zealand, Denmark and Spain as well as London and the UK.,
