Shannon Carleen Knight

My paintings always include bold, saturated colors, dense surface textures, complex layers and high gloss finishes. I love mixed media painting and like to incorporate vintage text, my own photography, painted papers and other kinds of ephemera into my work. Some of my paintings take decades to finish, allowing for deep processing-while others are created with clear intent and sold within weeks. I love a good customized commission.
I have been painting for 28 years, earned my BA in Dance, worked as a welder, photographer and teacher and continue to exhibit and sell my original paintings all over the world.
