Vladimir Tovkaylo

In the paintings of Vladimir Tovkaylo an ordinary street of a provincial town turns into a fabulously beautiful vision and mystery.
The artist’s favorite state, evening light, is obscuring with a haze. The sharpness of the contours goes away, unnecessary concreteness of details - the general rhythm emerges, the music of forms. The real variegation of gamma disappears.
Landscapes in purple, green, pastel pink colors! Only the general harmonizing melody sounds.

Vladimir Tovkaylo was born in 1966.
He graduated from the Dnepropetrovsk Art College in 1986.
Vladimir is the member of the Artists Union of Ukraine since 1994.
He had various exhibitions in Ukraine.
His works are in the collections of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Canada, USA, Spain and Austria.
Currently the artist lives and works in the city of Svitlovodsk, Kirovograd region.
