Expressionism in my painting is a chosen “ modus operandi ” as a sign of artistic liberty. It is most common that, the intuitive gesture becomes artist’s manifestation of conscience, his/hers spirituality, emotion and eventually supports his/hers personal freedom. These subjective elements are necessary to achieve fruitful outcome. My passion also played a significant role in that process. In a course of action, result appeared as an aberration between a physical reality and its perception. The presented series of my paintings emphasize on colour game, light distribution and tonal qualities. Methods I used, allowed me to play with the arsenal of artistic
quantities, engaged in full range of visual language. The distributional act forced me to find another formal solution, different from one I used before. Playing with paint and surface of canvas show me new opportunities and gave me a new ideas. The self discipline allowed me to track only important element for composition and to extract an essence of my painter’s condition. I was able to rediscover meaning of the old rules “ Less is More”.
