Deeply influenced by nature and bold and playful colors to express optimism , Anahid’s paintings attempt to transferring landscape with vibrant colors into abstract art. Her palette is filled with bold multi colors … creating surreal, dream-like landscapes. Primarily through the use of oil, acrylic and mixed media, Anahid is a abstract expressionist artist. A second-generation artist, she describes her father as her first mentor. Anahid started taking private painting lessons at an early age. after becoming familiarized with traditional oil painting and gaining her collage degree in Advertising Art, she found herself drawn to and inspired by modern art with and abstract, minimalist approach.
