Anchalika O'Connell

Manchester-based Thai artist Anchalika creates abstract paintings inspired by Thai culture and influenced by Buddhist teachings. Through an intuitive interplay of shapes, colours and forms, each work develops its own visual language and meaning. Her paintings explore themes of life and lifelessness, energy and stillness, order and chaos. Recurring figures and organic forms emerge naturally, reflecting a personal and instinctive creative process. Rooted in the idea that everything is in constant flux, her work invites viewers to contemplate transformation, movement and the interconnected nature of existence.
