Arasan Anandam

I am from India ,currently working as an architect and based in Bangalore.

My background as an architect has given me the basic training in Principles of visual art, art history and art theory and exposure to various styles and art movements.

I am fascinated by the modern art movement and its offshoots and have been influenced especially by the tradition of geometric abstraction explored in the works of Kazimir Malevich ,Piet Mondrian, Frank Stella and more recently by Sarah Morris etc., just to name a few.

I have been exploring and painting abstract art for the past fifteen years and have been exploring the basic visual elements of form, shape and colour with an aim to create exciting but balanced compositions.

Currently I am exploring several ideas for conceptual art & installations ,for a future show.
