Irina Petrova

Irina Petrova is an artist-traveler. Born in Rostov-on-Don in Russia. Art has always been the most natural form of self-expression for an artist. Having received a professional education in the field of fine art and art therapy, she began to convey the psycho-emotional manifestations of a person in her creativity. Irina has always dreamed of visiting all the places on the planet and is now on constant travel, exploring the world and conveying its wisdom in her paintings.
The main theme of artistic practice is the phenomenon of physicality and the question of how what is happening around the world affects each person individually and how it is possible to find a path to harmonization with oneself and the world around us.
She creates works in different media - acrylic and oil painting, collage, aerosol, gold leaf, mirror fragments. Strives for improvised fulfillment of emotional states. In her work, traditional recognizable images balance on the line between figurative and non-figurative art, becoming heroes of new “incredible realities.”
