My art is expressionistic and symbolic. I am a gestural, non-conceptual painter. Ideas develop while I paint; always listening to music.
Adore Auerbach, Jack Butler Yeats and Kosokova's work.
Painting is closest to poetry of all the arts. Latest works create the feelings and emotions that are evoked in W.B.Yeats, Charles Baudelaire's Les Fleurs du Mal; and Federico Garcia Lorca's poetry.

Artist Statement 2019:

Latest work has developed from symbolic expressionism to the abstract minimalism respected in Shodo Japanese Calligraphy.

Work is inspired by artists whom use a few lines, but the paintings convey so much: Franz Kline’s work, and Paul Klee’s: Fulfilment Angel...

Art may be extra ordinary, “ out of Nothingness comes Light ... “
