Barbara K Buer

Born on Staten Island, New York City, daughter of a floral designer, love of flowers and an early introduction to drawing, set me up to pursue my adventure into painting. The intricate play of light among petals and leaves has led me on to further forays into reflections and shadows.
Basically self taught, the challenges of the watercolor medium kept me occupied for years, until my gallery wanted larger and larger pieces, and I began the oil painting journey.
