Carina Esperon

I am an artist from Uruguay, I was born in 1980.
I love to paint since I was a child. I work with different textures, I use fabric, paper, fiber glass, cardboard, etc. I compose my works, I like to work with a structure so that the artwork has unity. I also work in an intuitive way when I put the colors and when I glue the textures. After that I start drawing lines with a pencil or crayons. And I start working in the structure of the artwork. I like that every part of the art work have a functionalism, I mean, that the lines, colors, textures and gestures function all together. Only when I achieved that I stop my work.

I started studying drawing and painting in 2002 with some well known uruguayan artist: Sergio Viera, Eduardo Espino and Walter Nadal
