Clio Thomas

I am a 2013 Sculpture graduate from Camberwell College of Arts. My work focuses on evolving concepts of beauty, using classical ideals as a basis through which to explore contemporary ones. I use classical techniques alongside beauty products from my surroundings to create my work. Through living in Peckham there has been a strong African influence to my work. I have explored my Western perception of how the African and Western cultures intertwine in this area.
