David Phillips

Born in Glamorgan 1937 of Welsh parents, David's a retired Manager who nowadays devotes his time to watercolour portrait/figurative painting. Having spent most of his working years in the management of cutting-edge colour matching... this former regular soldier has never lost touch with a natural ability to replicate anything set before him. Though figurative oil paintings have inspiring for much of his life, it's the medium of watercolour that's taken the lasting hold. Most of David's work is commissioned... and exhibiting the results are subject to client wishes.

David's Higher education has been exclusively technical, embracing chemistry, yarn technology, weaving & Dyeing,and sundry subjects related to the Weaving and Dyeing industry.
