Colleen Fernandez

I completed my first degree in sculpture at Northumbria University in 2000 and was the sculptor fellow for the following year.I worked for a charity,Multicultural Information Centre whilst continuing to expand my skills in the use of digital media. I exhibited in several exhibitions in England and abroad and participated in workshops in Graz, Austria and in Romania.In 2006 I completed my Masters degree in Fine Art in 2008 at Newcastle University and have continued to exhibit both nationally and internationally. I work from my studio in Newcastle on Tyne My work addresses political and environmental issues in general terms the human condition.
