Fiona Jappy

Born: Edinburgh, Scotland.

Key to my artwork research is the investigation of remembrance, history, and heritage.

I completed my studies at Edinburgh College of Art gaining a BA (Hons) Degree in Painting in 2000 and then received my MFA in 2D/Painting from the School of Art and Design, Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois, USA in 2004. I also have an HND in Graphic Design from Aberdeen College.

Exhibition history from 1999 to present includes over 100 local, national, and international exhibitions, including 6 solo and 2 two-person exhibitions. This also includes 32 invitational exhibitions and 22 juried exhibitions.
