Francesco Bova

I am an artist, I love to research, I love to learn, I learn every day, I create ideas every day, I can add colour and warmth to the day, I am Australian born with Italian heritage, I study Italian and after 10 years of learning I am fluent enough to only use Italian when travelling to Italy each year. I travel overseas and connect artistic pursuits and training with my trips. I have done portrait workshops in New York, Rome, Perugia, Sydney and Bathurst. I have painted plein air in Rome, Morocco, Prague and Sydney. I have been life drawing for 36 years.
I love to paint and draw the portrait, figure and urban landscape.
I am inspired by many artists cioe Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Picasso, Giorgio de Chirico, Modigliani, Van Gogh , Francis Bacon, Singer-Sargent, Turner, Monet, Gauguin, Degas, Toulouse-Lautrec, Rothko, Jackson-Pollock,
Andy Warhol, Banksy, Thierry Guetta
