Giorgia Valli

Giorgia Valli is an Italian multidisciplinary artist working with photography, painting, and sculpture to explore the intersection between the visible and the invisible. With over twenty years of experience in conceptual and experimental photography, Valli creates works that blend the intimacy of everyday life with the mystery of the unknowable, transporting the viewer to a dimension suspended in time and space.

In recent years, painting has become a central part of her artistic practice, with a particular focus on oil pastels, allowing her to give tangible form to her dreamlike and symbolic visions. In each piece, photography and painting engage in dialogue, transforming the image into a meditative process that transcends time, forging a profound and intimate connection with the viewer.

Giorgia Valli's photographs are part of prominent museum collections, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the National Gallery of Art in Washington, and the Center for Creative Photography in Arizona. She has exhibited in international galleries and published a book with Nazraeli Press.
