Gina Perillo

Gina grew up in Washington, IL and now lives in Normal, IL with her husband and her two sons. She graduated from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale, IL in 2010 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts - Major Art & Design Major Concentration Art Education with Minors in Art History and Museum Studies. Gina has exhibited in several juried art shows and her work has been displayed in solo and collaborative gallery exhibits. Gina has a painting in the Permanent Modern Art Collection at the Rochester Museum of Fine Arts located in Rochester, NH. In 2015 she had her work featured in a project collaboration with The Ellen DeGeneresShow and Houzz.

Gina works with acrylics on gallery wrapped canvas. Her pieces are minimal and focus on modern abstract landscapes/seascapes which are layered with rich color and have a lot of movement/depth. Much of her inspiration comes from nature and can be described as calming, soothing, bold, and vibrant.
