Gianluca Fontana

Photographer and director Gianluca Fontana is based in London.
Originally from Italy, he graduated in Architecture before turning to photography, having developed in that time a sense of composition and balance which remain key in his work, today.
His sophisticated approach produces images of intimacy and sensuality, work which is enriched with both sense of truth and immediacy.
His photography has featured in Vogue Italia, Vogue China, Vogue Russia, Vogue Turkey, W and Allure Korea, Numero China, Numero Russia, Vanity Fair, various editions of Harper's Bazaar, French Elle, Air France Madame, Wallpaper amongst others.
Clients include Alessandro Dell'Acqua, Cartier, Chaumet, Fendi, Gianvito Rossi, Givenchy, La Perla, L'Oreal, Maxmara Group, Moschino, Net A Porter - Yoox Group, Prada.

He is author of the book Private Sitting, the result of a five-year period of personal exploration, published by Skira publishing and distributed worldwide by Thames&Hudson and Artbook.

Degree in Architecture at Politecnico of Milan, Italy.
