Stephen Hayman

Stephen Hayman is an artist who has overcome huge adversity, learning to draw using his hook hand prosthesis. With his inspirational spirit and determination, he has created a stunning collection of drawings. Stephen had a stroke as a baby, which has meant that he has needed multiple kidney transplants during his life. Stephen loves to draw cartoons and animals, and also capturing the historic character cottages and churches surrounding Waimate (his hometown) which is in the centre of New Zealand's South Island. Stephen has contributed to many art shows and has sold his works to customers inspired by his amazing ability.
