Hester Jones

I am a British artist based in London. My practice incorporates photography, video, installation, sound, found images, text and objects to probe gender roles and hierarchical structures in patriarchal society. I am inspired by Zen, Neuroscience, Eco-Feminism and Arte Povera to explore human and animal consciousness and analogous behaviours and emotions such as empathy, fear, joy and anxiety. I am also committed to working in the area of Arts and Health.
