Born 1944 in Oxford U.K.I have made images with all types of cameras since the age of 14, working as freelance Photographer to the private and commercial sector until the mid 90's when I started to taking photographs of the local landscapes and seascapes and holding exhibitions and selling my work through local galleries. In 2004 together with my artist wife Josephine we opened The Estuary Gallery in Leigh-on-Sea as a permanent showcase for my fine art photographs and Josephines paintings.I am passionate about recording still images of the local area marking a moment in time that conveys the beauty for all to see in the final print. The inspiration for my work comes from the natural world of seascapes and landscapes using light and shadows in the ever changing weather patterns. My images are printed as giclee prints on fine art paper or canvas using photochrome inks to produce archival quality prints.
