Janet Lee Brown

I'm a nomadic scrounger, carrying a bag with me to pop in the bits and bobs I find while walking my dog. Some appears in my artwork; the rest collects dust and gathers cobwebs in the studio.

Assorted community college art courses in Nevada, California, and New York, culminating in AS in Studio Art, Broome Community College. Went on to receive BFA in Sculpture at Binghamton University under the guidance of Ronald Gonzalez. Took a stab at getting MFA through the Academy of Art in San Francisco, but felt stifled. Comes a time to quit doing homework and just get to work.
