Freedom of expression is as much a myth as it is a right. Often, unwritten rules are what govern us. That’s why I love art.

Art is permission. It’s the gate that lets a horse run free. It’s the “5 minutes more” a parent gives a child before bed. It’s the opinion you can share without getting fired. It’s tears you don’t have to hide and rage you needn’t contain. It’s also the wonder you never have to outgrow.

When I paint, I get both lost and found. Art allows me to be.

I'm self-taught and primarily conceptual. I love landscapes and people. However, rather than paint what I see, I like to paint what I imagine. To me, that's makes a painting truly original. I began my career as a creative person in advertising before turning my conceptual talents toward painting full-time. Until now, I've sold privately in North America, as well as abroad (primarily England, Ireland, Costa Rica and Norway).
Life has its curious ways. When I was in high school, I doodled and was nearly expelled for it. Now I get paid for it. Hope to hear from you soon.
