Landscape painting to me isn't about boats in the harbour or cottages with white walls by the sea. Pretty villages are notably absent from my subject matter.
I find the huge elements of a landscape far more absorbing than the details which often feature in the name of landscape painting.
The sky and the earth we walk upon is my landscape painting. It gives me my reason to paint - the vast shapes in a changing sky and the colours of the land beneath it.

As an artist, I don't need much more than this - just a place to stand....

www.landscapeandsky.com - Launched January 2014
For the past 12 years, I've concentrated on promoting and selling my own work from my website.
My first website went online in 2002 http://www.kenbushe.co.uk/
In Dec. 2013 I finished building a new website http://landscapepainting.gallery/ to take advantage of the new Wordpress technology now available.
My interest in building a web site initially arose from a strong desire to actively represent myself as an artist through the new medium of the internet rather than the traditional, more passive route of relying on artists agents, galleries, or fate.
