Kinga O.Legg is Polish born artist. Since 1994 she lives and works in the USA. The subject of most of her paintings is landscape with some exceptions of portraits and still life. Paintings depict unsurpassed beauty of landscape from various places in the world bringing relaxation to the viewer. Landscape changes not only with seasons but also with time of day and instantaneous light, shadow and reflection effect. This is exactly what Kinga O.Legg captures on canvas. The focus of most paintings depicting water is not only the image of water but upside-down reflections of the surrounding space on its surface. The pictorial reflection is richer subject when disconnected from its casual source and a single monochrome plane becomes an exhaustible field of all-encompassing space. Interlocking tones of color are enriched with subtle effects of sun's course variations and shadows. Often, the ostensible subject matter (landscape) is cropped and reduced to the scale of still life as in series "Water lilies". The pond's surface acts as the background for bouquets of water lilies arranged on it.

Kinga O.Legg holds the MA in Architecture from School of Architecture of Polytechnic in Cracow, Poland. While attending university, she took courses in drawing, painting, photography and sculpture. She mastered her painting techniques under the eye of internationally acclaimed artist painter Wojciech Dlugosz.

Numerous individual and group exhibits starting in 1978 in Olkusz, Poland. The most prominent was the individual exhibition of her 40 paintings in June/July 2008 in the Museum- XV century castle in Poland. In August/September 2011 her works were individually exhibited in The Society for Arts Gallery in Chicago.
