Ian Freeman

This story starts with my love of true nature, my appreciation of the natural human form and a devotion to my own wife’s curves.
My creative journey started when my wife gifted me her own body cast to celebrate a special birthday (OK my 40th).

This much loved cast sparked a fascination with the process and art form. After testing a variety of materials, I now create my own beautiful alchemy, utilising the best moulding materials on the market, used by the film and TV industry... but my actual cast material is my own mix of resins/ bonded polymers and cold cast metal.

I capture special moments in the body's journey, either as a commission for clients to gift the most beautiful personal piece of art to a loved one, or simply as unique piece of art for the client themselves.

In addition to commissions, I create these mixed medium artworks for sale.

My passion is creating pieces that encapsulate a personal journey, such as pre and post trans, survivors of domestic abuse, or pregnacy.

I graduated in Sports Science (Business & Administration) from Nottingham, before completed my Post Grad in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

I am also a landscape gardener, but where my artisitc flair really finds its niche, is in my bodycasting.
