Armin Staeblein

My name is Armin Staeblein, a self-taught metal sculptor.

In the past I started with wire art, kinetic art like wind sculptures and a rolling ball sculptur.

My background is engineer and the results from my technical and artistic obsessions are the metal sculptures.

I´m faszinated by round forms like circles and spheres and the inspiration was to create spheres with different kinds of steel. The shape of every component part and the tough and cold look from steel is completely different every time but the community of the spherical shap gives an emotion of security and harmony.
