Martina Spagnoli

Fashion designer, stylist and photographer. A natural gifted creative person, she has acquired a lot of experience in the world of cinema, fashion and communication, passing through San Diego, New York, Rome, Milan, Florence and through another endless series of places. In Rome she achieves the first Master in Italy as a stylist in performing arts, when the word "stylist" was practically unknown. She starts to collaborate as an assistant costume designer for cinema, for photoreports and as an image consultant for artists and musicians. In time, her bond with photography gets stronger and stronger, and in her photography merge her previous experiences from fashion and cinema. Already a personal stylist and an image consultant she starts working as a freelance photographer as well. From mere photography introspection peeps out in her art. She loves women and female beauty. She loves black because it highlights its opposite: light, a spark, the beauty of the soul. In her photos she's always looking for emotion. She doesn't feel satisfied with the pure stillness of a perfect and glossy photo, but she tries to catch beauty and ugliness in every thing and to mould them in something unique, as any soul is.
