Mark Henson

born in 1954, native son of California, my passion is to express the divinity and foibles of humanity with a good dose of political satire and subtle eroticism.Self-propelled, I have climbed out of submersion into the sublime. I am at home in the jungles of Costa Rica and the city jungles of the West Coast of the U.S. I am inspired by nature from the cosmic to the mundane.

Fine Arts from the University of California, Davis, a long history of self-created galleries at hundreds of festivals, performance painter, lecturer, most recently at the PUSH Gallery S.F, Grace Hudson Museum, AVAM in Baltimore, published in magazines, book covers, and rock posters.
